A WW1 Centenary Celebration...

Trebullett Chapel is organising a Centenary weekend 7-9th September to commemorate the ending of WW1, the formation of the RAF from the RFC and the passing of the Representation of the People's Act 1918 giving votes to women.
The weekend starts on Friday 7th September at 7.30pm with a Sing-along led by Sheila and Richard Burt when we will join in songs of the First World War and others of that period.  All are welcome and it would be wonderful if the ladies came along in beautiful hats and boas!
On the Saturday the exhibition of memorabilia commemorating all three centenaries will be open from 11am to 5pm.  If you have anything suitable for this event and which you would be happy to lend, please contact either 01579 370835 or 01566 782286. Refreshments will be available.
On Sunday 9th September we will be holding a special Sunday morning service at 11am to be led by Revd Jo Smart.  All are welcome to any or all of this weekend – we look forward to welcoming you.  All events are at Trebullett Chapel,

The inauguration of Mrs Jill Nute as the new president will take place at Tintagel Methodist Church on Tuesday 18th September from 10am to 4pm. The Speaker will be Rob Holmes of Mary’s Meals. The event will be followed by a cream tea. Please bring a packed lunch - tea and coffee will be available.
